What information do I collect? How do I use it?
When you place an order, I need to know your name, email address, mailing address, payment method, and if applicable, credit card number, and expiration date. This allows me to process and fulfill your order and to notify you of your order status.
Our book list is brought to you in association with Amazon.com. If you use the links on our book page, Amazon.com may receive information about visitors to our site or communications between our site and those visitors. Amazon.com may store, use, and disclose of any and all such information, consistent with the policies and procedures set forth in Amazon.com's Privacy Notice.
You can sign up for The Bellwether's emailed newsletter. This is delivered by feedburner in association with del.icio.us and blogger (a Google business). This contains the latest news and specials at The Bellwether.
The Bellwether believes in only sending notifications to those visitors who choose to receive periodic notices about new products, special sales, and interesting news. Thus, you can sign up or remove yourself from email or RSS notifications at any time.

Contests and Surveys
When you enter a contest, survey, or other promotion, I may ask for your name, address, and email address so I can administer the contest or survey and notify winners.
I monitor customer traffic patterns and site usage to help me improve the design and layout of The Bellwether's web site. This includes your IP address, time and date of your visit, and which pages you visit.
How does The Bellwether protect customer information?
When you place an order, the webstore uses a secure server. The secure server software (SSL) encrypts all information you input before it is sent to me. Furthermore, all of the customer data I collect is protected against unauthorized access.
What about "cookies"?
"Cookies" are small pieces of information that are stored by your browser on your computer's hard drive. The Bellwether may set and access cookies on your computer if you voluntarily register on our site. You do not need to register to shop or place an order.
Will The Bellwether disclose the information it collects to outside parties?
I am committed to protecting your privacy. I use the information collected on the site to make shopping at The Bellwether possible and to enhance your overall shopping experience. I do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to others. I will never send unsolicited email not directly related to your order.
